I’d heard the rumours, and it looks like Microsoft has finally confirmed them. Effective November 22nd, Microsoft will be making movies and TV shows, available in full HD, for download through XBox Live. A lot of people seem to be griping about this, and I for one can’t imagine why. Services like this already exist, but unlike the one offered by my cable provider, the movies on Live will be in HD!! How can you beat that?

Plus, as many of you 360+HDTV owners know, the quality of HD programming that your cable provider provides pales in comparison to that of the HD content on your XBox 360, no contest.

Despite all of the problems with overheating, Microsoft is constantly churning out better and better quality stuff. It should say a hell of a lot about the product that, even though due to design issues ‘m on my fifth 360, I still stand by the product. No pricing has been announced yet, but I’ll update you all once word is out.

And since it’ll be one of the films available on November 22nd, it looks like I’m finally going to get around to seeing V for Vendetta. 😉
